Hedrick Associates is the exclusive factory representative for Mitsubishi VRF systems in the Western and Northern Lower Peninsula. Mitsubishi has been a leader in VRF solutions in the United States for 30 years and continues to lead the industry in advancing VRF technology for residential and commercial applications.
Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) zoning is an energy-efficient method of providing precise comfort control to indoor environments. VRF offers benefits to a wide variety of applications. Mitsubishi VRF systems can optimize designs for everything from spot-cooling or heating a single room, to controlling a large commercial building with multiple floors and areas. VRF moves refrigerant to the zone to be heated or cooled, allowing the temperature of that area to be more precisely controlled. It can simultaneously cool some zones while heating other areas or just provide comfort control to zones that are in use. (Zones are single or multiple room spaces that are conditioned to a set temperature and are operated independently from other rooms within the same structure.)
The Mitsubishi Multi-Zone is the world’s first and only two-pipe, simultaneous cooling and heating system, which reduces complexity, time and cost of installation and allows for fewer refrigerant and electrical connections. Mitsubishi also uses Inverter Compressor technology, which is highly responsive and efficient. The technology allows for reduced component dimensions, lower emitted sound levels, and flexibility of placement. The CMCN (CITY MULTI controls network) manages operation, monitoring, scheduling (daily, weekly, yearly) error email, personal browser, and tenant billing and maintenance diagnostic information.
All of these features give architects, engineers, installers, and owners more design freedom with integrated, simple to use controls.
Additionally, Hedrick Associates also can provide Mitsubishi split-system cooling products and carry multiple sizes in-stock in our Grand Rapids warehouse location.
