Our Team

Jerry Postma and Gloria DeJong have both retired from Hedrick Associates, after distinguished careers. Those who had the opportunity to work with them share our appreciation for their hard work and outstanding service.

Andy Carpenter has been in the HVAC wholesale business since 1993, including 11 years at a major local distributor, before joining Hedrick in 2007. His responsibilities include inside sales, technical service, and parts management.

Ann Kamps joined Hedrick Associates in Fall 2007 after graduating from Hope College with majors in Business Management and Communications. She handles service contract renewals and warranties on existing equipment sold by our sales representatives.

Jeremy Steinhaus graduated from Ferris State University’s HVAC/Engineering program and joined Hedrick Associates in Spring 2005. Jeremy handles order administration, service consultation, and parts sales in-house; as well as system startup and service consultation in the field.

Duane Lee has provided technical/sales support at Hedrick since 1989 and has many years of prior experience in the field of HVAC service. Duane is available for consultation on service questions and order administration.

Rosemarie Markle joined Hedrick Associates in 2002 as receptionist and administrative assistant, and now manages the office. Rosemarie is usually the first voice you hear when you call, and can help locate anyone at Hedrick that you need to contact.

Mark Miersen joined Hedrick in 2007. Mark graduated from Grand Valley State University's Padnos School of Engineering, where he received a degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Electrical Engineering. Before 2007, Mark spent 9 years with Liebert, located in Columbus, Ohio. His experience at Liebert included 4 years as a product Application Engineer and 5 years as a Sales Manager for the Northeast United States, supporting Large Power and UPS business. Mark handles sales engineering at Hedrick for Barry, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, St. Joseph, and Branch Counties.

Joe Hancock joined Hedrick Associates in 2001. Joe is a graduate of Ferris State University's HVAC Engineering program. His experience includes employment with K-Mart, where he was National Refrigeration Service Manager, and also with Progressive Engineering in Grand Rapids. Joe handles sales engineering for northern Lower and all of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Eric Lanning, with Hedrick Associates since 1990, graduated from Hope College with a degree in Physics/Engineering and Business. Before 1990, he interned in the engineering department at Prince Corporation (now Johnson Controls), and was employed part-time and summers providing inside support at Hedrick Associates. Eric is responsible for all Liebert network product re-seller accounts in Kent and Ottawa counties, as well as sales engineering in Grand Rapids and the lake shore from Grand Haven south to the state line.

Karl Huffman came to Hedrick Associates in 1986, after graduating from the HVAC Engineering program at Ferris State College and working with Quality Air Heating & Cooling in Grand Rapids. Upon joining Hedrick Associates, he spent six months in Liebert's extensive "Prep" program, training in various capacities at Liebert's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Karl is responsible for sales in the Lansing and Muskegon areas, as well as parts of Grand Rapids.
